There is no way I'd buy one at that price. I really want one too! Might be a flop if they can't get the pricing comparable to the iPad.

oi.. like always, a bit of misinformation to try to make apple look good. In europe they use the VAT tax, which is an inclusive tax built into the price. If memory serves, its around 30% somewhere which im sure someone will correct me on. Thats not counting any sales tax on top of that. We dont have that tax in america (yet, but Obamination is trying to give it to us), so you basically just have to think about adding 30% on top of anything in america. Take 30% off that price, and it will be closer to the expected, which is around 600 bux or so. It is the first of the "high end" android tablets, did you think it was gonna be cheap?? Even if its the same price as an ipad it does MUCH more, so u get better value. This time next year, there will be a dozen Android tablets and it will drop the market price substantially. First adopters always pay a premium.

OH LORD.. it CAN make phone calls. Think about it. U can do video calling over wifi. You have a speaker and u have a reciever. It may lack the frequencies to make calls over Tmobile or ATT, but it doesnt lack the ability to call over Skype, fring, google voice, ect. A little common sence peeps!!
