Now that the Samsung Galaxy S 4 is official, which high-end smartphone would you buy?

She's beautiful isn't she? Dressed in her polycarbonate outfit, she glows with charm and appeal, begging us to get our itchy hands on it. Of course, we're talking about the new Samsung Galaxy S 4 smartphone, which just got announced officially. Although we're yet to give it a proper review, we're pretty content with what we've seen so far. Some of you are probably impressed as well, which comes as no surprise since the smartphone is powered by capable hardware and chock full of exciting features. But would you buy one?...

Well the Galaxy S4 has a cool new features, but honestly i'm not really using these. And also I doesn't like the materials that is feel cheap in my hand! Its just doesn't feel good with that plastic for a high end smartphones!

All the modern Android high-end phones have too big screens and I dislike iOS and Windows ecosystems. I think I'll have to wait until someone puts top specs again into a smaller (4-4.5") phone.

A phone is a phone, lol! I laugh everytime i read stuff like this. So many people argue on such an asinine subject. Here...........TO EACH THERE OWN!

I wont buy a high end phone. Why? Happy with Mid range. I dont live for the internet so why have a high end over priced device? Lifes too short for that.

I love samsung for their genuine concern of what is necessary and important both in hardware and software side...

try to drop xperia z, HTC one and SGS4 all together and let us see whose gonna cry for a costly replacement of their cases...as a heavy user battery life is a big must for me...and features that will add some joy while Im watching videos..I can replace my drained battery with ease and its a relief that it is user replaceable when its dead...a scratch resistant glass is more than enough for me...and 13mp camera makes it more desirable knowing that samsung devices (S3/noteII) has amazing cameras already .I love the way samsung made their devices...they are created from the heart...

go to android authority you'll find out plastic on S3 vs aluminium iphone5, and in youtube you will see XP Z beig drop it, shot under water, rub with sand, flexed, and even cooked,
power bank is more better than extra battery with power bank you can charge your S3 and note2 without carry to much battery, and if the battery worn out just go to servic center and ask them to replace it

I can not stand the "feel" of the PLASTIC S3 so I guess I can eliminate the S4 from the phones I will consider buying in anohter few weeks when my contract runs out ..

So the HTC One is now what I am going to focus on..but I sure wish it had a removable battery and a SD card...

That said if Sprints seriously discounts either the S3 or The HTC Butterfly (one something) I just may pocket some money and buy an outdated phone that will work just fine for my uses..

Love that poll result for Nokia, love my cyan Nokia Lumia 920. Love the design, build (it doesn't break!), call quality (I have switched from my Galaxy Nexus to my 920 mid phone call just to hear the amazing difference), maps (I have never gotten lost in the outback with my 920), screen (I can read it on the beach).

It is insanely better than any other phone that is why it is at 97% in the poll!!!

I'm perfectly happy with my Galaxy S3. I don't really see a point to 1080p screens. I'm sure they look quite lovely, but I already can't see a single pixel on my 720p display, so I'm unsure why 1080p will revolutionize my phone. I am happy to see Samsung perfecting AMOLED technology, but until I try an S4 myself, I doubt I'll be convinced that 1080p is worth it. I do appreciate that all manufacturers are focusing on optics this year. After perfecting optics, I truly hope that battery life will be the next focus. We don't necessarily need larger and larger batteries if manufacturers move toward using more advanced battery chemistry.

Although I'm a fan of HTC, I did try the 920 and really like it. I like the way it looks and it's fast and it has all these features that everyone is trying to match or beat. That said, the S4 needed to wow.me, but instead they pulled an Apple. The HTC gets my vote, but I'm not leaving the 920 any time soon. I find the WP experience to be more engaging and entertaining. I also find Nokia to be a more engaging company. This is something I've never experienced with Apple, HTC, Sony, or with Samsung. So I guess it's not always the phone itself that is important when looking at purchasing a new phone.
