Now that the Samsung Galaxy S 4 is official, which high-end smartphone would you buy?

0. phoneArena 14 Mar 2013, 20:43 posted on

She's beautiful isn't she? Dressed in her polycarbonate outfit, she glows with charm and appeal, begging us to get our itchy hands on it. Of course, we're talking about the new Samsung Galaxy S 4 smartphone, which just got announced officially. Although we're yet to give it a proper review, we're pretty content with what we've seen so far. Some of you are probably impressed as well, which comes as no surprise since the smartphone is powered by capable hardware and chock full of exciting features. But would you buy one?...

Its most likely just one. These polls are easily rigged. If you clear your cookies or reload the page in a different browser, your able to vote again. Either someone has way too much time on their hands or they've found some software that does this. Either way you shouldn't take these online polls seriously. If the poll was based on IP, it would be a little more secure/accurate but even those have work arounds.

That's what exactly happens, I said it before on a poll which ended up with a result saying 75% of the pollers were gonna get going to get a Nokia 808 pure view over any other smartphone. The Nokia boys go crazy with cookie wiping and revoting. They pretty desperate in the Nokia camps these days

Do you have any proof for your statements?

The fact that you guys know how to rig polls like this says that you've been doing it a lot!

You calling Nokia boys desperate? the fact that you blame stuff and call this rigged just shows you stupid fan boys cant accept it when your precious android is losing something! And you call us desperate, you guys are WEAK!

Lol well the fact that the lumia 920 jumped up over 5000 votes in a few seconds would sound suspicious to the even the most newbie junior detective! Personally I voted wait to see what other smartphones are coming this year. If the wp like the lumia were indeed so popular as this poll currently shows I'd be making a fortune in commission selling them daily, the reality is the taking up a fortune of space in store rooms remaining unsold.

This is what I'm saying all along.
The crap going on with Nokia and Microsoft is serious and disturbing.
It's not normal and people should really start realizing that

What people should realize you are one of Nokia's biggest haters and a stupid mindless android fan boy?

You really need to check yourself first before making such statements!

Only a stupid and mindless dimwit could believe these polls that happened o Gizmodo (Nokia winning 80% of votes), Engadget (Nokia winning by about 70 and Microsoft surface by about 60% of votes), and now here..that it is legitimate.

Need a proof?
Look at the reality outside, idiot!
There's ten Galaxy S3's on every Nokia Lumia!

It is still selling by orders of magnitude more than Nokia L920.

Here's some reality for you!

..that is the largest confirmed purchase consumer review database.
Look at that very same Nokia, and compare it with the galaxy S3!

Last time I checked there were freaking 3700 reviews of the S3, and 48 of L920!

I dare you to do some objective reasoning over that.
There is not even a comparison between the OLD galaxy phone and this Nokia here in terms of demand!
Galaxy S3 is overwhelmingly more sought after product.

And if you still don't see who's blind and clueless now, well, may God have mercy on you.

As for the Xperia, the result is not surprising me one bit.
There are a lot of Sony fans in this realm, and the device is exceptionally popular, and is actually selling really well.
Just check out gsmarena stats

Spec mean nothing in this battle because every phone more than capable to do everything the OS offer so now about design and optimization of both hardware and software. I need that screen adjustments of Samsung but design still Sony. But since I use Sony now and still prefer arc design I thing I want different feeling from Samsung or HTC. Actually interested in Xperia T but maybe their support will be ignore just like my phone

Why phone arena didn't mention G PRO among the top flagships? Are they bound to favouritism? S Translator and Dual shot are copied from LG.

exactly.. I wondered the same thing.. for me its between the LG Optimus G pro, the S4 and the Motorola X phone. Since the S4 has the same processor as the G pro then I will most likely go with the G pro as I like the bigger screen.. We will see what the X phone turns out to be though and I will make my decision after that.

I'd still buy the new Samsung s4 though. Didn't buy the s3 & I have the galaxy note so this is clearly an upgrade. Then again i might just wait for the next galaxy note.

iphone4>iPhone4s>iphone5 = same design
SGS1 > SGS2 > SGS3 > SGS4 = still quite same design not not if 100% same or nearly same

Apple will now sue again for copying their Design shifting scheme

or Samsung still waiting for iphone next design to Copy lol which is more likely

S4 all the way. Finally something attractive from Samsung. Design is beautiful if look carefully. Can't believe how they managed to fit that huge n beautiful display in such a handy way. Very neat n good improvement from Samsung's side. Would have gone for XZ before but not now. Specs are great and design is improved. Will look no further. One too is beautiful but lack of sd slot and non removable battery spoils everything. Thumbs up to Samsung. Can't wait to see the sales chart now. Haters will hate but fact would remain intact that S4 is going to beat the hell out of everyone. Waiting for Motor X though. I have a soft corner for them and will be really happy if they come up with something interesting and competitive. Until than, S4 will be the choice. Kudos Samsung. Thanks to you for the king.

My tx is just dissapointing, the screen, the camera, the button placement, the laggy ui..... This time ill choose a phone that actually works. Samsung maybe not so good in design overall but at least people say the experince of having a galaxy is reallygood . Because my experience with a Xperia since i had for 3 months ago Its being s**t!

If I were in the market for a smartphone, I'd sit it out for two months and see what happens at I/O. If I absolutely HAD to purchase a phone now, it's either the Galaxy S4 or the Nexus 4. The S4 crushes the Nexus in just about every hardware spec, but the software on the Nexus is just so good. I'd probably lean towards the S4, only because software can be changed; hardware can't.

The HTC One and Xperia Z are still really good phones. You can't go wrong with any of those four, in my eyes.
