Wow this is Great!
If tablets go to $250 I might buy one!
I mean $500 for a tablet! you can get a laptop with that money and a gaming console.

I think their intention is to get the Xoom family for kids to play games on and parents to surf the web in. Whether that's a winning strategy or not who knows. I mean it's basically the original Xoom with less memory and games and parental controls. It's something that you can sell someone on pretty easy.
Imagine if you're a parent, you see the iPad and you see the Xoom, Xoom has better internal hardware, a bigger better screen, has Zoodles on it but also includes 40 bucks of software including SIM City Deluxe, and Quick Office Pro HD.
Value wise it's a very good value, no it won't dream of coming close to the iPad, that won't happen as long as Apple doesn't choke the lead up.

I think that by rebranding it (putting games/apps on there that appeal to children/teens) and dropping the price that they will have much better success than the original had. Besides, when the first Xoom launched it was very early in the Android tablet game. Most of the better Android tablets are household names now and this will also help in sales.

At 99$, the Atrix 2 is a real good buy. Should do well as a higher end Android option at that price point.

I know Android is all open source but the android market has like 250,000 apps. Iphone has more than 500,000 apps. Also no android phone has as much hype and talk as the iphone. Even the little changed iphone 4s is sold out.
GO IPHONE, IPOD, AND IPAD

Um the nexus Prime article got like 250 comments way more than any iphone article Ive ever seen. The only thing that came close was steve jobs death. Also Android releases different good phones and they have competition from other android manufacturers. Last I heard Iphone has 400,000 and android had 300,000 so ur wrong about everything

im pretty sure nobody has enough time money etc to get 500000 apps :/ seriously people stop bragging about how many apps your app store has if 1)your phone isnt a phone its nothing but an app launcher 2)how many of iphone apps are free huh? 3)dont comment on a post if it has nothing to do with what the post is about.
