Now all they need are emulators for ColecoVision, Atari 2600, Atari 5200, Sega Genesis, and NES... then it will be perfect.

They actually have many of those emulators already including a playstation emulator as well. However, you need to jb the phone to get them...

I've jb'ed 3 iPhones and never had any problems. You can always do a full restore which removes the jb and sets it back to factory settings, so there's no way to know it was ever jb'ed... Sometimes extra luxuries come at a cost. If it weren't for the ability to jb, I might not even own the phone, but it opens up every door imagineable when you do, so IMO well worth it.
