I want a Lumia 730......with a swivel 6.7 MP camera.
Low end phones should not have front facing cams (Ex: Lumia 525)
Mid range phones should have decent swivel cams (Ex: Elife E7 Mini)
High end phones should have excellent front and back cams (Ex: Nubia X6)

If Nokia insist in WP it´ll loose the top dogs, it´s always about the camera !

Do you think the 630 with no camera flash is gonna have a great camera? If you said yes. Then keep dreaming.

Nop ! 930, 1530 ... Change from WP and start to rule the world

The reason they never went with android was cause Samsung was already rulling the world. You cant imagine how hard it is to sell in a world of Samsung. NOKIA was going down, no money, so what would they do with android? Be SONY/LG/HTC who bearly have 4-5-6% each? Or try new OS and dominate it and try slowly to catch up. THey did well and they are doing well especially with MS who will help them with unlimited ammount of money for marketing.

Why does every andoid OEM focus on flagships ?! If they're to enter they could've started with the same strategy of lumia 520 and 620 and target developing countries. And then when people start trusting your products then you go on to build a flagship. That's how android came into existence. People don't want to shell out $800 if they don't trust a brand or software.
Moto G has built a perfect budget phone and is Motorola's highest selling phone EVER.

720p is enough for 4.5'' display. With 720p, Snapdragon 800 would rock just like Sony Xperia Z Compact does. And 2700mAh battery really sounds great for 4.5'' display! 20mp PureView Camera,2GB RAM,Micro SD slot and ofc new Windows 8.1!! What more can you expect from a Windows phone? :)

You just described the Z1 compact with Windows phone 8.1

Such a shame Nokia decided to go with MicroSilliSoft, it would have been great to have Android on the Nokia 1520 or Lumia 1020. Alas, my powers only reach for the crumbling Apple in Cupertino and the folks over in Redmonde seem to have some sort of protective force field around their camp; which is why the Bald'man is still standing. Congrats Nokia!!

See I prefer it this way.. I think nokia and android don't fit or go together.. That would be like apple and android.. Nokia and Microsoft equals amazing

Nokia X anything = something amazing
Nokia X 0 (Windows Phone) = 0

Not everyone wants an Android phone. I have a Nexus 5, iPhone 5s 64GB and I am glad that my 1020 runs Windows Phone and my wife is glad that her 1520 runs Windows Phone, after using Android devices over the last few years.
I will still buy Android and iOS devices in various hardware generations but I am glad to have Windows Phone as my main OS.
I can say this, with Nokia's hardware expertise, there isn't any phone with Android or iOS that I can honestly say "I wish that had Windows Phone". For example, I don't wish the GS5 or M8 had Windows Phone because Nokia would make a better phone with the same processors with Windows Phone.
Above all, it isn't a "shame" that phones run Android or iOS or BB10 because it is great to have a choice.
Why don't you contact your favorite Android manufacturer and ask them to build phones with whatever quality that you like about Nokia phones? While you do that, I'll contact Nokia and ask when are they going to start making water resistant phones and adding back the IR blasters they were using 8 years ago.

I agree sir!!

Looks like I don't need to reply. Thank you!

I am glad they didnt. I am enjoying the WP over my Note 3 and S3 experiences. Love the 925. Even without 8.1 i love the OS. I dont have to babysit it, which for me is a huge factor, as well as office and xbox integration.

There was a time when an Android NOKIA was my wildest dream. However things are looking different now with the new Windows and the Windows apps and features. The time is coming when I will abandon the Android. And it might just happen this spring...

There is still hope that Microsoft/Nokia will make a American/International version of the Nokia XL android open source smart phone that will have better specs then the Nokia XL that is made for developing markets. it may not be as grand as regular Android smart phones but some People in developed nations will buy them and root them to use Google play store Apps and services. Perhaps this new XL smart phone will the API'S so you wont have to root the New XL to use Google Apps and services but you will have keep the Microsoft/Nokia UI or else you will destroy the new nokia XL Warranties.

930, 630. Couple of new camera apps, maybe that long-time-ago-rumoured Nokia Mix Radio for iOS and/or Android. IDK what else.

Enough with the iphone style resolutions, give the third world some hd. I think it has gotten much cheaper to manufacture hd pannels. Besides, we have seen the likes of the 925 sell for 300 bucks of something.

I'm holding out, for the 1820? C'mon on Nokia... Bring it
14. jckc92 (Posts: 25; Member since: 28 Nov 2012)
Sound like great phones...Nokia has to stop dragging their feet and bring out the 1820 and hopefully it isn't a phablet size phone! Tired of big and bulky phones. 4.7-5" is adequate.. Also make sure it has a 3000+ size battery, micro SD slot for all you lovers of it, a great camera like the 1020 with Zenon flash and some metal for that expensive look. They also have to sell it on all carriers...Do this and the sales will fly. I use phone for talking ( I know hard to believe), GPS, and camera. I don't game or watch movies. If Nokia wants to gain some ground in the market then they need to get this phone out ASAP!!! M8, SG5, Z2, and soon to be iphone 6 will all be in the game and once again don't want Nokia to come out last with an OS that only has less than 4% of the market. IMPRESS US ALREADY!!!
21. pookiewood (Posts: 565; Member since: 05 Mar 2012)
I think the issue is they can't fix American minds. Yes release devices here but I think they really should cater to their global fans where people are more open to WP. These AT&T/Verizon launch cycles have to end! WP is great they just need to push for global releases.

I'm still impressed with my 920 because it's still plenty fast. I just want that Icon screen! I was hoping the 920 followed in the footsteps of the 900 but it didn't. However I'm still impressed by my 920's screen I just hope an AT&T/International variant is for real and has the same exact screen technology as the Icon.

Yes, 920 is still a beasty phone, It has gorgeous screen,

Nokia doesn't exist for me any more. Not interested in windows phone, so this company serves no purpose in my life.
22. CX3NT3_713 (Posts: 1671; Member since: 18 Apr 2011)
Not interested,or no purpose in life? Yet you stopped to comment , on a windows / Nokia article......riiiiiiight
23. seanwhat (Posts: 86; Member since: 11 Jul 2013)
this article =/= the nokia company, dude. if people only voiced their opinion on things they like or want, i don't know where we'd be.
30. JDeus01 (Posts: 21; Member since: 07 May 2013)
and yet here you are giving nokia a "purpose in you live"
32. seanwhat (Posts: 86; Member since: 11 Jul 2013)
i could spend a hour talking about seahorses, but that doesn't mean seahorses serve any purpose in my life.
42. Martin_Cooper (Posts: 391; Member since: 30 Jul 2013)
Who cares? Competition is good, plus people dont agree with you in a way that you think your opinion somehow represents the majority.
24. GamasK (Posts: 22; Member since: 27 Jun 2013)
So the 630 is going to be a downgrade from 625 in camera section? Too bad
26. oboboy14 (Posts: 45; Member since: 27 Mar 2014)
Whatever happened to the 1525? I've been holding out for that since it was leaked!
27. SIGPRO (Posts: 407; Member since: 03 Oct 2012)
I think there will be a new CameraPhone announcement!
Check the logo More the O is an Camera, Nokia always gives small hints :)
Maybe the 1025?
35. mafiaprinc3 (Posts: 307; Member since: 07 May 2012)
I'm still unable to understand why they would make the Lumia 630 without a flash when the 630 has one. Who wants a phone without flash these days
37. oboboy14 (Posts: 45; Member since: 27 Mar 2014)
...I don't understand what you're saying. Windows phone is Monsanto? I thought Windows Phone was Windows Phone?
38. Taters (Posts: 2651; Member since: 28 Jan 2013)
If the 930 isn't the flagship, then what is? The 1020?
I thought the 920 was their last flagship....
47. microsoftnokiawin (Posts: 906; Member since: 30 Mar 2012)
the 1520 was last year's flagship the 920 was 2012 lumia 900 was 2011 (even though it was really the n9) :P !
48. 7thspaceman (Posts: 1047; Member since: 14 Feb 2011)
hmm wouldn't it blow peoples minds if Nokia announced a Nokia XL android smart phone for the developed world as well as new Windows 8.1 smart phones. I know that wont happen but I do expect an XL for the developed world by this september or november because I predict that the Nokia XL will be a big hit overseas.
49. SIGPRO (Posts: 407; Member since: 03 Oct 2012)
New camera phone is coming, because the O in the More logo is a camera :)
