Nokia's new high-end model to be aluminum?

0. phoneArena 03 Jan 2013, 22:26 posted on

Nokia is apparently working on its next high-end Windows Phone 8 model to succeed the Nokia Lumia 920 and the early speculation centers on an aluminum body which will make the next phone thinner and lighter than the Lumia 920; although there is no official title, the phone is currently codenamed Catwalk...

What's new once you release a high end wp there will be little room for improvement. You can change the cosmetic side but the internals and hardware will be same. Nokia can do better without windows phone. They change everything they wanted not unlike windows phone. So for now anxiously waiting for jolla-sailfish, htc or sony phone. Don't get me wrong proud owner of nokia n9 and other symbian devices from nokia.

does it matter what's on his phone or which model he has? if android can't provide the same performance and functionality across all models then what's the point? not everyone can afford to buy a flagship every quarter of the year or twice a year...

It means most of them are still laggy..even the newer high end ones crash and lag at times when made to work at the extremes...

How can Android be inferior, it has much more functions, you can tweak it however you want. I have SGS1 with jelly bean(all hail xda :)) and I have no such things as issues and crashes. And by the way when I was in a store a week ago I had a chance to play with lumia 920 and 820 and they lagged, true story.

maybe your phone is an outdated phone that's why it crashes. don't go around this site saying android sucks. 'coz you know what? WP sucks! microsofts support for the users is not that great unlike google who constantly tries to improve their software. and i guess your bragging about WP ui being so butter-like smooth. then use HTC droid DNA, LG Nexus 4, Samsung Galaxy Note II. And if that's not enough why cannot i see devs wasting their time developing in WP if it's so godlike.

I've got the Motorola Photon. Not the newest but not old. Before this I had a Samsung. Both crash a ton. I have a few apps that are highly rated. I sell many phones and we constantly have Androids that have many issues. @Pedro0x my wifes Lumia hasn't crashed in the month and a half we've had it. Just today though my awesome (Not) Android restarted itself while playing Pandora and was froze on the Motorola Screen.

On a side note sure Android has "more" apps but they are mostly (not all) junk. The app developers for Windows seem far superior. Of course that makes sense when Android app developers get money from ADS -_-' Smh..

But fellas its ok keep living in your bubble. I sell cell phones for a living and I love to play with them anytime I can. Im not saying Android is terrible but after using both heavily, Android is like a bicycle that keeps getting flat tires and Windows Phone is a luxury car with climate control seats ;)
