Calm down... :) I wonder what you will say when you discover that it doesn't have the google market, apps and services.

It won't, apparently. MS won't allow this to happen since Google services are miles ahead theirs. Else, the remaining nokia fanboys will switch from lumias to nokia's android line.

Nice story but since when did you become the ambassador for the Nokia fanboys? I would go Apple before going back to that buggy MySpace os

Did you just call Android a buggy MySpace OS...? Really?

Like it or not, Android is the world's most advanced mobile OS right now. That's the reason why most nokia fanboys out there want nokia go full android.
Nokia would sell way more devices if they were running Android. You might be in denial, but deep inside you, you know it's true!

Haha, right for someone who's supporting a subpar OS, it's hard to acknowledge that the other competitors are better. Perhaps, the truth is a bitter pill to swallow. :)

Android is a great OS. But it surely isn't the most advanced. A most advanced OS should have its latest version on all phones, not just a specific group (Nexus).
Also, it has still got some lag even after using octa core chips and 3 GB of RAM.

It's not Google's fault that the Android manufacturers do not update their devices when a new software version is launched. Google rolls out software updates and application updates quite regularly, it's then Samsung's, LG's, HTCS, Moto's(who have been doing an awesome job as of late)etc, to roll them out to their devices.

The features that Android offers alone trumps anything that WP and or iOS offer ATM. Thus making it the most advanced mobile OS period.

Cheap excuses, buddy.
Most advanced OS means having more features(Android on Samsung's flagships can be used as a PC replacement for light to medium tasks), better support, better and more mature ecosystem, etc.. Where WP fails greatly compared to Android, and even iOS!
All they've been doing at MS for quite a while now, are trying to play catch up, suing and bashing their competitors.
And you sure have never used phones like the NOTE 3, Nexus 5 or even the mid-end, Moto X.

Btw, according to your logic, which is the most advanced OS then? WP? Lumia 800, 900 and all the other WP7, never got updated to WP8.
iOS? iP3GS and below are stuck on iOS6>.

Android is a great OS & very popular. However, it isn't the most advanced by any stretch.

I happen to think that Microsoft services are superior to Google's, it all depends on which eco system you are invested in.

Not really, since it's a low end.
The most awaited phone of this year is the S5 imho, or may be the ip6.
But personally, I'm more excited about the Oppo Find 7.

I hope this phone comes under asha extension of nokia, and so does nokia can make more of such mobiles, if nokia can provide android, i bet it will kill many players in market even if it does not support google's android, nokia always have its own replacement, such as nokia store for google play, here maps for google maps, and alot of other perks under its hood.

Nokia can't make phones for two years after the Microsoft D&S acquisition, and MS gets the Lumia and Ashas lines, as well as naming rights for ten years on the basic/feature phones, so you won't see that "replacement" as ongoing. This phone is a "swan song" if it hits market, rest assured.

I'm a huge Nokia fan myself, but truth be told, I don't think you'll see another Nokia handset for quite a while if ever. They lost their asses the last five or so years, and the board and stockholders have bad tastes in their mouths. Maybe one day, who knows. It doesn't change the fact that it is disheartening.

Go Nokia Get Your First Place Again

It's a low end phone, this means it will be slow (since it has only 512MB of RAM) and it will have cheap display, camera and so on. I don't think it will do well in reviews. If Nokia wanted the first place, they should've embraced Android years ago, and the full Android, not a customized version without the Google apps.

not conformed about the custom version there are chances of full android experience on nokia.

Guys, calm down this phone won't individually get the market back, its a low end device and will have little impact on major android sales...its only one device! Smartphone technology has excelled a lot since nokia were on top and they need to do a lot more to get it back!

Where's Elop's poolboy Rodney?

I want to see this cat eat some crow.

Nobody should be so invested in one operating system...nobody. Not manufacturers, not consumers.

The gem manufacturer of the Windows Phone ecosystem is about to release an Android model...wow. Five years too late. Should've kept Meego too, but Jolla will pick that ball up and run with it.
