Nokia's Israeli distributor first Nokia related person to confirm Windows Phone 8 launch

No person or company with a direct link to Nokia has ever mentioned anything about Windows Phone 8, that is until now when the Finnish manufacturer's Israeli distributor confirmed that the Apollo update to Windows Phone will be out by the end of this year...

WP 8 will have provisions for better hardware, but it will be almost as stunted as 7/7.5, unless Microsoft wants to court fragmentation, as well.

The Late Autumn, early Winter time frame seems very likely at this point from this and a dozen other stories. I know there is a late June, invintation only Microsoft event.. Wonder if that is the Windows Phone 8 official announcement party?

I am waiting since WP 8 is announced. I will buy if its up to my expectations otherwise will go for Android. By the way I am buying my wife Nokia Pureview 808 as soon as available. I do not think I will be buying an iphone because that doesn't offer some of the features I need from a Mobile phone.

the Galaxy S III is the phone I just fell in love with...

I have never owned an iOS device, but I played with many so I'm considering the iPhone 5, since the display will be larger and new design and it usually equals the best.

As of WP8, I'm also giving it a chance. I like the Metro, but still lacks a lot, and I mean ALOT of features - so I'm counting on the prodigy.

If both disappoints me, SGS3 for me.

Nokia is going to give us the update to WP8, i'm sure of that, both microsoft and nokia are not stupid, microsoft also make it possible to update Windows 7 (desktop) to Windows 8 (desktop), and it is a different kernel, so why would microsoft be so stupid to give not a update for Windows Phone 7.5 to Windows Phone 8 :) think about that, we will all get it
