Where are you from? I can't really think of anyone that I know that has a Nokia.

The new Lumia series from Nokia seem's to be a hit so far, over a million sales in only 6 or 7 countries (not including the United States). Maybe Nokia N9's.. but about from that I agree.. 50 people seems too high a number for 2011/2012.

Keep in ind Nokia has very strong non-smartphone sales, especially in "developing countries", that is, countries that until recently didn't even have cell phones, or if they did, were only for the very rich

I think it's pretty clear that there will be an N8 successor of some sort now (mynokiablog has prlenty of evidence of this happening) but it will be a Symbian device first. The photo processing software for WP7 isn't as robust as Symbians yet and so it seems reasonable that if Nokia had an n8 successor it would be symbia first, as it would be bad to come out with it on WP7 and the photo's not be that good.

I can't see any way how Symbian is as good as Windows Phone 7. That's the reason everyone swapped AWAY from Symbian!

Try both and you'll see. WP7 is great, but Symbian is as customizeable as Android, (possibly moreso) if you know what you're doing. It's just older
