No good news here. At least the heads up has been given. I just recently left an auto part plant, and during the 2009 fiscal year, they sliced 7% of our workforce by walking up to people over a three day period, tapping them on the shoulder, and escorting them out. Some really good people too. (My position was cut, but they kept me. Painful cut in pay, though.) Glad these workers have the chance to decide the best way to handle this before the cuts start coming.
