Nor did it say "Not actual footage" so if Nokia is demonstrating to us the technology, we would automatically presume it is the phone being ued to demonstrate it. An advert in the window of Maccy D's is completely different to showing off the technology in a phone. It's not like McDonald's get a picture of a gourmet meal, and then give you a cheese burger.

Way to go, Nokia!!! This is the right path when something wrong is related to your products. Nokia has a reputation to look after...Got that, Samsung? Nothing yet from You and your SELF-CRACKING S-III......

i think it was part of their surprise to put fake pics and videos up because now people are even more eager to see what really is the new tech about to just know the true story.i hape they got it correct in the end when the review comes out cuz now reviewers can change the game for nokia before it releases

Expected the least from a company like Nokia. But M$'s involvement in Nokia through their planted "Bot" (read Elop) make it to be most expected. May sound like consipracy theory but Elop is all out to ruin the company so that M$ finally buys it out for peanuts. All this faking was just a part of that Elop strategy. After all M$ wants to have something to show off (and also armtwist on patents) when compared to google's motorola.

You are all after elop for some reason i dont understand. What i ask you is this, what would you have done? Gone the android way? please, htc is in a heap of trouble, it has great hardware but is still just another droid phone maker. Symbian? please, it ruined nokia. MeeGo? in a world of ecosystems it would have done wors than symbian. Elop did the right thing and differentiated nokia from apple, samsung and htc. and diversity is good. history will show if the was right. i hope to god he was...

On Elop, I still have my reserves....It is on Nokia where I put some of more of the blame for the OS slow growth. Nokia should have been more participative with IDEAS for the ecosystem. There are many good things from Symbian that would have made WP even better.

It's going from bad to worse. From the day this was decided about nokia "Elop"ing with M$ the nokia forums had enough of an indication where nokia would be heading. RIM also tried to differentiate from everyone. look where they have reached. More and more restricted devices are thrown at customers more they would turn to samsung. Sony/HTC/(Nokia also) et al all have primarily adopted Apple's methodology ... sealed battery no storage expansion etc. Samsung gives everything most of the time.. yes everything that customers want.

I can only wish that nokia bounces back ... but it looks tough because even on WP it's not a monopoly... there will be many players there too.

Why is it going from bad to worst? The smartphone growth for Nokia in now pretty much exclusively WP. They are gaining sales everyday not loosing.

Why all the doom and gloom from everyone? Short term thinking dose not make any good. Nokia is still the 2nd biggest handset maker in the work. Well, the 2nd "most shipped" in the world.

It is inevitable that WP sales with grow exponentially. With the release of W8, it's a natural progression for W8 users to WP8 users as well.

Idk if you didn't notice but HTC, Samsung, LG all make both windows and android phones. Nokia should do the same. I'm sure plenty of people on android would love to use a Lumia 920 like phone that runs android.

Stick with your android, you are obviously a fan.

It's really just personal preferences. If someone love ios or wp... that's their own personal preferences.

Hey PA Mods. Reduce the number of rollover ads. They are really sickening and make navigation dificult.

I'm still getting the Lumia anyway, I had my mind set before they announced it. Hopefully this lowers the price or something good comes out of it for the customers...

Nokia treats its loyal client fanbase like sh!t. First with underpowered overpriced devices, then the Nokia N97, then Nokia 5800XM, then the Nokia N8. Then not launching and releasing Nokia 808 PureView on time, then this so called camera phone with lesser features than the previous generation. Lies, lies, and more lies.

Yeah this is just another stupid move by Nokia. How can one fall so much on a straight and well-beaten path? They should have let the matter die down. All this hoopla about an internal investigation will sound like utter BS to anyone who even cared and knew about the fake video and images, making them even more wary of Nokia. Nokia hasn't shown any grace with their belligerent and deceptive marketing in the past, with their "beta-tester" ads showing a pension for bigheadedness and bravado when their Lumia 900/800 were at the back of the line in terms of capability, and the Smoked by WIndows campaign which was just choreographed garbage. Their old Lumias couldn't live up to all their claims or even achieve the same level as other phones, and they knew it, so instead they resorted to cheating their way into the big leagues. The recent botched ads are nothing unexpected in the sort of dirty marketing Nokia utilizes. Why people are even surprised at this point is a wonder.

For Nokia, let's just hope that any of these won't happen when they launch their new phones
