It's sad to see Nokia in this state, it's Nokia board's fault for sure but still I hate MS and Elop.

I think what really holding back Nokia is their TROLLS
They only listen to their trolls and they think they are doing really well
Otherwise nothing really can explain why such a Great company(Long time ago) has been struggling and struggling again in this mud in few consecutive years and things are getting worse for them
920 is great phone
But it's not WOW to normal customers which means it's failed again
Yet many TROLLS INSIST Nokia did and does always best jobs
They are true inside devils for Nokia..
No offense to true supporters

Those guys want to tie Nokia to the sinking ship called WP.
They don't care about Nokia, they only care about their beloved WP.
57. darac posted on 17 Jan 2013, 08:21 3
+1 to you, sir.
Those trolls are completely oblivious about the reality of Nokia's ingenious strategy!
Thousands of workers have been shown the door after a decade of contribution in making Nokia one of the best known brands in the world.

-1 Another example of Pot Calling the Kettle Black. Do they have a choice? They are re-structuring and cutting cost. Ignorance can't see this. Nokia is not the lone player doing the rebuilding. There are already signs of turnaround soon. Lumias are not declining, they are growing amidst fierce competition (that's why trolls like you bug the site). Only you trolls have no vision.

How much lower can you go Nokia? Time to go Android!
17. No_Nonsense posted on 17 Jan 2013, 07:01 3
Can you refrain from posting the same thing in every Nokia/WP post? You would've gone saying the 920 is the best phone if it ran android.
29. putyongka posted on 17 Jan 2013, 07:21 2
It's the best already running Windows Phone. Sales does not equate best, though they will approach that segment in the coming months.
43. No_Nonsense posted on 17 Jan 2013, 07:43 3
I didn't say the 920 is a bad phone. It's a terrific phone although I feel WP should be ironed out a bit. Still WP is a great (emerging) OS, and I'm not going to stop expressing my opinions in spite of these annoying trolls. It's probably the only site where there are such android fanboys who stop others from having their opinion, liking a OS/phone of their choice, pointing android's flaws and want to stuff their views in other's throats. BTW they call you paid shills/ retards when you don't agree with them.
79. chaoticrazor posted on 17 Jan 2013, 09:26 1
everything you have said in this section is pretty spot on, android fanboys go too far and cant take what they give out
second and trying to stay on topic which is hard with users like ''MeoCao'' and his one sided bs wp8 does have some work to do and will continue improving as you said needs ironing out abit.
what ''MeoCao'' doesnt understand is android is still in need of the same thing too. people need to understand all os's have pro's and cons'
90. No_Nonsense posted on 18 Jan 2013, 05:07 1
Thumbs down on the forum suggest the narrow mindedness of these guys.

As long as Nokia continues to survive off "Coupons" from M$ there's only one path that it can take -- Same as Novel. This is what a ny association with M$ do. M$ is more interested in the patent portfolio of Nokia and would want it completely worthless on paper otherwise before takeover biod is made.
Good work E(f)lop.

I didn't get this quite well. They have a Nokia Windows development program for which they charge 99$. Why not train the existing employees to develop Nokia Windows application and completely DOMINATE the WP8 market with their own applications more than 50%
67. freebee269 posted on 17 Jan 2013, 08:41 1
nokia already does this. they have quite a few nokia exclusive apps on wp8. it's the rest of the ppl on wp8 platform like htc and samsung (what little there is) owners that get left out.
7. anupam.chopra posted on 17 Jan 2013, 06:22 4
Why can't they Just adopt Android and create New jobs instead firing existing Employees. These jobs are going to China Manufactures like ZTE and Huawai, who are not best employers in world if not the worst. Elop and MS are just Pure Evil.....................
68. freebee269 posted on 17 Jan 2013, 08:43 2
the reason they dont want to adopt android is simple. the android market is already crowded with many manufacturers. wp8 market has only a couple and nokia is now the major player in that ecosystem. from a business standpoint they made the right decision. the challenge is getting the ecosystem to flourish.

I still belive if nokia go with android they can rule... with their build quality & cameras with jelly bean.... wow.....day dreaming.... :-p
21. sonisoe posted on 17 Jan 2013, 07:08 2
Its of nokias own making, made worse by elop..... So stupid puting everything on wp considering their dire state....
24. putyongka posted on 17 Jan 2013, 07:14 3
Really? Is that all you have like a broken record?
71. freebee269 posted on 17 Jan 2013, 08:46 4
i disagree. i think they made the right choice going wp8. elop took a dying company and changed their whole direction in 180 degree turn. now their stock has gone from $1.68 in june 2011 to over $4 this month. that doesnt sound like elop is doing something wrong.

Another Nokia thread were idiot android fans come in and proclaim death to Nokia or windows because they don't jump into their belief of android is the end all be all.. I swear you guys are worse than the lemmings that are buying iPhones.. Just bury your heads back in googles lap like the pet that you are
63. darac posted on 17 Jan 2013, 08:31 2
Oh the irony.
Microsoft PAID BILLIONS to Nokia to go WP!!
73. freebee269 posted on 17 Jan 2013, 08:49 3
could you show me proof that microsoft paid billions to get nokia on wp8? i'm curious.
75. skovach04 posted on 17 Jan 2013, 09:00 3
Only true moron will make a reasoning like that. They have contract like any other company, eg. discount in royalies, integrated app store, use of Nokia mapping in the ecosystem, search, joint outreach program for developers, etc. There is nothing wrong with partnership working for a common goal.
28. papss posted on 17 Jan 2013, 07:19 4
Also see the two that started commenting in this thread? Trolling much? I'm soo surprised

81. sats.mine2k4 posted on 17 Jan 2013, 10:33 2
Nokia would have been Today's Samsung and more... Only if it would have choosen Android over the crap OS on it's phones then and now...Come on Nokia make the right decision before you die...We want you in this market...you do good hardware...

Let every carrier have a lumia 920 & that should fix some issues.
84. fanboy1974 posted on 17 Jan 2013, 11:32 0
Like I said. The Nokia 920 will not singlehandedly bring Nokia back to glory. If they can't touch iPhone how can they touch Android? The WP fanboyz are stuck in a state of denial.
85. UrbanPhantom posted on 17 Jan 2013, 14:34 2
Android is for computer geeks and nerds, while WP8 just works. It seems that Android fans don't mind installing mods, and trusting their "wallet" to open source reversed engineerd code. However, don't be shocked when your credit card info ends up being auctioned online...

If Nokia cuts job it doesn't mean its a bad company, Staill Nokia is a Champion in Mobile World, Nokia will again gain top spot with MS OS it doesn't need That Waste of Money Android food OS (jellybeans, Honeycomb, Ginger etc).
If we see Todays Android OS it work same as Nokia's Symbian s60 5th edition OS i.e. (Multitasking, Filemanager, how to see open apps etc), so it doesn't create any wow factor.
