Nokia rolls out 1.1 update for Symbian^3

Nokia's Symbian^3 might be the latestedition of Symbian, but many would say its UI is dated and justcumbersome. Does the 1.1 update, which Nokia just rolled out,change this? Unfortunately, the answer is no, since the update offerssome improvements on Symbian^3 performance, but “most of theupdated features are not directly visible to end users.”

Some minor tweaks include acceptingrequest directly from email invitations and integration of maps inthe email app. In addition, Nokia N8 users will get some new content. QuickOffice6.4 editor version and three new games (titles include Needfor Speed Shift, RealGolf and Galaxy onFire) should all be on board after the update. Expectedly, itwon't be a light download with that many new features, so you shouldfollow Nokia's advice and get it on a Wi-Fi network to save ontraffic.
