Nokia pushes Belle Feature Pack 1, a major update to Nokia 701, 700, 603
Nokia is pushing another over-the-air update to its latest Symbian devices the Nokia 701, Nokia 700 and Nokia 603. The Belle FP1 update brings a lot of important improvements to the handsets, enhancing their performances and adding some tweaks to the interface.

For starters, it bumps up the clock speed of the processor on the handsets to 1.3GHz which entails faster performance. You should get notified when the update arrives. Here’s a rundown of the most important novelties in Nokia Belle Feature Pack 1:

- increases the speed of the processor from 1.0 to 1.3GHz
- adds new homescreen widgets,
- brings improvements to the notification bar,
- introduces an updated version of the browser (8.2),
- comes with an improved multi-tasking view,
- adds Dolby Digital Plus functionality.

With the update, the handsets also get Microsoft Apps and Nokia Maps Suite 2.0.

Symbian is not implemented for smartphones i think thats the primary reason why they chose Microsoft

You are st....sir.
Symbian is a grandfather of smartphones. Educate yourself before write such a stupid thing.
Btw. Instant overclocking. Great:D
But...why didn't they do that in the first place?

Seriously? Man, Symbian already have Opera. Why do you need IE?

Oh I don't know, how about INDUSTRY GRADE ACCEPTANCE of IE10 and ActiveX controls for most online transactions (Abacus, Navitaire, Galileo, Magellan, Amadeus, etc.,).

After using IE on the Lumia 900, I'm in agreement. Best mobile browser I've ever used. If it had Flash it'd be as close to perfect as I can imagine at this point
