Nokia plans to give each US carrier a little somethin' somethin'... unique

Winning the carriers' hearts is a surefire way to enter the minds of American consumers, that's just how mobile business is done here, so it is intelligent and humble on Nokia's part to try and create a unique value proposition for each major carrier. Whether the effort will be successful remains to be seen, but the Lumia 900 and 710 are a good starting point in this strategy so far...

YES! Was so worried that us Verizon users were going to get shafted again.

And Sprint. While not as important for sales, it is important to be regarded as a player to be on all the carriers. I am pumped to see Nokia as an agressive WP partner.

not to mention Nokia hasnt had a phone on Sprint for SEVERAL YEARS. Would be a big win for Sprint.

I have absolutely no idea where Phone Arena deduced that Verizon was mentioned in this interview with Chris Weber! The interview is on Nokia's page, as well as their YouTube channel, and NOT once did Chris Weber mention Verizon or Sprint.
Even if you go directly to Fierce Wireless.com, there is no mention by Chris Weber of Verizon or Sprint.
Just bad, misleading reporting, Phone Arena.

I think this is a great idea. Samsung did release the Galaxy S and Galaxy S II on all carriers, with each one having a different design and name. Nokia could easily do the same with their new Windows Phones. :)

Yeah this sounds great especially if carriers will get more than just the low-end "are you kidding me" phones. As a T-Mobile customer this means I'm expecting a lot more than the Lumia 710 that Nokia just kind of dropped on us. Ugh.
