Nokia planning an event on September 26th-27th, Windows tablet on the way?

0. phoneArena 31 Jul 2013, 18:28 posted on

Although Nokia has denied having any plans to release a tablet, yesterday we saw an indication that the company is indeed working on a tablet. Now, a new leak has Nokia planning an event in New York on September 26th and the 27th, which of course has started the questions as to whether that tablet is real, and on the docket for the September event...

If it's a RT tab, better not be more than $399. In fact $399 is still high to me. S800 processor means RT, which sucks. Or, if's it's a phablet with 1080p then we have a winner here.

Hey, it is not me dictating the way society works. It is just that these days, people champion smaller things and that is why the low res ipad mini is outselling a super high res ipad 4 and the size was also a big factor in why the old Nexus 7 was so popular even if it was junk hardware with good software. It is also why the Xperia tablet Z is so appealing because it is only 6.9mm thin and super light for a 10 inch tablet. Nokia had no clue about the trends when they thought we wanted a brick with a good camera that is like 10% thicker than most phones and at least 10% heavier and unfortunately, I don't think this tablet will be any different.

That is just how society is right now, they want thin and sexy. Just because I agree with the trend it doesn't make me weak. As a matter of fact, I am quite strong and healthy for my size. It is just when you are that far of an outlier when it comes to size and weight from your competition, it gets noticed. Like really REALLY noticed. The Lumia phones are fricking HUGE. Bigger than most 5 inch screened phones.

This tablet is going to be laughably HUGE. lol

Nokia may be offering both a Windows RT and a Windows 8 tablet. the previous rumor has stated a Nokia Windows 8 Tablet made of aluminum coming in multi colors including PINK for the ladies. Nokia best bet for a great table is to use what sells and that is Windows 8. but by September Windows 8.1 with the Powerful windows blue updates that will be given to all windows devices by then except windows phone 8 blue which will be released to windows
smart phone oem's and carriers later this year or early 2014

what is wrong with People every time a new tablet comes on the market place trolls come out and damn it. Microsoft says it is committed to put windows on ARM CPU Tablets. Microsoft said
they will support their windows 8 Surface RT tablet for 3 years. which means even if no MS oem supports it or make them Microsoft WILL. therefore RT is not going to be dead for 3 years.
