A patent filing does not mean all that much in today’s world and it certainly does not necessarily indicate an upcoming product...

Do you think a lumia tablet will be much different from the surface?

At least it will be a TRUE NOKIA MASTERPIECE too!
By the way, Nokia makes the best Windows devices, so no need to worry about that. :)

As said above, it will be a solid piece of hardware. It will be a new experience, because world is unaware of feel of a Nokia made tablet.

No. The Surface is "Solid". But I don't expect Nokia to come out with some cheap feeling crap either.

There was some news a few days ago that Nokia's planning a tablet with a coverthat will be containing a supplimentary battery. Judging from the concept art I think the news is true. The remaining space on cover looks as if it holding some hardware (battery, most probably).

Does this mean Nokia can sue ms now? This isn't some vaguely drawn generic picture for your usual patent application...it looks just like the surface.

No, the Surface uses a different method of standing, with its kickstand, whereas this concept shows the stand and keyboard integrated in one cover (or possibly the whole unit)

or who know ELOP stole the same and gave it to HIS MASTER to produce SURFACE.

Well currently Nokia would be planning which asset to sell next so show that it is in profit. Or which office to close...

Nokia is a great Company Elop was right to wait it out and see what sells and what wont.
Microsoft had to make a tablet because it's Enterprise customers wanted one that would work with their current investment in using Microsoft Windows software. The major mistakes in windows 8 are that Microsoft did not give the windows 8 user the option to go directly to the Windows 8 desktop after they log in and Microsoft removed the Start button. today however there are sites on the Internet that can give the windows 8 user the 1=the ability to go directly to the Windows 8 desktop if they wish and 2= return the Start button. Microsoft needs to make their OWN APP that dies these things and put it the Windows 8 store Microsoft could call it the ":MS Desktop" this would make Windows 8 more easy to use for the Old Timers and the Enterprise customers becaus because Windows 8 would look and work very similar to windows 7 and enterprise customers would not have to retrain their workers to use it which is something they prefer not doing because of time and cost factors also t he 5 Windows 8 chams should have have 5 short cuts on the desktop for windows 8 users to easily find and use them. also it would be good if short cuts for tany Modern UI app could be placed on the Desktop to make them easier to access from the desk top. it would be nice for instance to have the Weather app tile or a short cut to it on the desktop to use it. these things would make windows 8 great.OPS FOLKS there is already a Program on sale that does all of this Hmm why does not
Microsoft do this because they Know windows 8 best and and should be ale to do these things better than any one
