Nokia might have scrapped the N9, something else running MeeGo leaks out

0. phoneArena posted on 24 Jan 2011, 04:08

Eldar Murtazin tweets that Nokia has cancelled the Nokia N9. A tablet-looking device, running MeeGo leaks instead. There is a lot of speculation if this is the N9 successor, a tablet, or just a hardware test platform...

This tweet's timing looks more like a bit of stock manipulation than solid evidence to me. A test tab picture is now evidence that Nokia has scrapped its flagship? Seriously? I would prefer to get my Nokia news from someone who is not a person of interest in a Moscow police investigation into the theft of Nokia IP. Talk about conflicts of interest!

I don't know if it means anything but notice how he says n9-00 is cancelled ? I think ( just my opinion though ) , that they have scrapped the design with the qwerty keyboard (n9-00) as E7 is about to come out and it's essentially a qwerty smartphone as well and they will release a candybar version (n9-01) to try and compete with iphone and android phones . We'll just have to wait and see i guess ....

Why is anyone taking this quack Eldar seriously? This guy has done nothing but try to put Nokia down every chance he gets(much like the U.S. media, bloggers, ect.). Phonearena, please refrain from posting news from idiots. Use credible sources only.

@Libertasian no i don't think so .
But check this :http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_ubl-vMLqw
Don't they seem like the same device ?

yea but thats just a reference board to showoff the Handset UX for MeeGo. And even if it is a Nokia tablet they would not drop the N9 to focus on tablets, thats Intel's department.

Murtazin is obviously having a vendetta against Nokia. Read this:http://the-ultimate111.livejournal.com/34727.html
Did'nt he even claim the N8 camera was a bad one? I think gsmarena and the rest of the world has proven the oppsite. I certainly don't trust him anymore...
