If you were saddened when Nokia didn’t announce any immediate plans to bring their new Windows Phones to the states then cheer up a bit because a rumor is going around that Nokia is working with AT&T to offer an LTE-capable version of the Lumia 800…

Hey this could be a sweet phone if they make 2 simple changes. If the screen can be a minimum of 4\" & if they can add a front facing camera then this phone could be a very nice addition to AT&T\'s line up. I really don\'t see a point to a front less camera phone with LTE. Again that is just my opinion. I love to video chat, I have been spoiled. I have been video chatting on 4G since the Samsung Epic 4G came out. I could never get a phone without a front facing camera. Again let me reiterate, that is just my opinion.

Agreed on both fronts, especially the front facing camera. Consumers are going to compare this to other phones, especially the iPhone and high end Android models, and having that there, will make it look a lot better, especially when you tell someone they can still video chat with friends who have another OS, despite the fact that they may never actually use it. This is the only time I'll ever say it, but I'm actually hoping AT&T pushes for that feature change in this phone.

*giggle and clap hands rapidly* Now I don't know if I should wait for a newer handset with dual-core and a FFC. Which will probably come in mid-2012.

I don't think this phone is going to sell that much even if it came with HSPA+, so I don't think adding LTE will help. Maybe the rumored Nokia Ace would be a great LTE device, but not this.

I'm hoping for a Nokia WP to come to At&t! I'd like to steer away from HTC and Samsung and try some thing different.

If they're just "talking" about bringing this phone to AT&T then odds are that even if it does come it won't be until February if we're lucky.

How about returning to making pentaband devices again Nokia? I hate the idea of getting the Lumia 800 and having it only work on AT&T, or only T-Mobile. I guess now it'll be harder to move my beautiful Nokia device between providers when they try to raise rates...good for them, bad for us.
