Nokia kills the N810 WiMax
Much like the HD DVD and Blu-Ray war, WiMax and LTE have been fighting over the next 4G technology and WiMax has lost, with about 80% of the carriers worldwide going for LTE. It is because of this loss that Nokia has stopped making the N810 Internet Tablet WiMax Edition, which was released just 9 months ago. A Nokia spokesman explained that "It has reached the end of its lifecycle."

The beginning of the end for Sprint's next generation of service? Maybe we'll be able to find these phones in the bargain bin next to HD DVD's...

I thought the tablets were a good concept. Maybe they'll fall down in price....
