Yes, it's true. Nokia is giving discounts on their higher end cell phones. How do you get the discount? It is simple. By going to the Nokia website, click on the Buy Online tab and then click on the All Phones tab. After that, what you'd want to do is click on Buy Now on any high end phone and wait for the Chat window to pop up.
Connect to the chat and tell the representative that you are interested in one of the phones, for example the N79. Then mention the special pricing through chat and they will apply it with the $50-off promotion that Nokia has going on as well.
Keep in mind that this deal can only be utilized by using the chat option and there is no set time frame of when it will end so it could just be for the holidays.
An example of the discounts - Brand new N79 with US 3G frequencies can be yours for $359.50.

Not really new news, but yeah Nokia has these rebates too. $75 off the N96 $50 off the N79, e71, and N95 The E71 is a temping price...
