New US smart phone from Nokia!?!? I say meh, its getting old watching the rest of the world get firmware updates months ahead of time. Nokia needs to improve its support of current customer who aren't in it to hack their phones all the time before they think abotu a serious US competative phone.

word. its one of the main reasons i got rid of my N97 other than the fact that the processor on it made the phone practically unusable.

this is actually a good idea... specially if partnered with non-Symbian OS. hehe. say no to Symbian.

You people really need to stop hating on Nokia and Symbian. Every idea they come up with, people like you guys hate on them. You need to just admit that Symbian phones are just too advanced(and cool!) for you, and run and play with your little i-toys or whatever simple o.s. you choose to use. If you have to hack your phone, or can't handle a processor or the Symbian o.s, then maybe it is too much for you. You should move on quietly to something else. Don't hate.... congratulate.

I'm once a Symbian fan but not today. Why Nokia now day still using the out dated Symbian S60 UI on their touch screen phone??? Why they don't use the Symbian UIQ, where it's more usable compare to Symbian S60 UI for the touch screen. The step taken by Nokia by using Maemo interface on Nokia N900 have to be praise by all users. Nokia also have to take a necessary step by using other system like android that prove to be more usable compare to Symbian S60..
