Nokia ditches Ovi branding, rebrands services to Nokia

The rumor has been making rounds in the Internet for nearly two weeks and now it’s official – Nokia will rebrand all its services from Ovi to Nokia, intending to centralize brand identity and strengthen recognition…

good riddance..i HATE the term OVI they never shud have used it and atuck to Nokia since the beginning!

These steps are being taken due to the fact that Microsoft will be purchasing Nokia's Mobile Division soon. Which on the software side we'll see improvement, but I worry about the hardware Microsoft would want to put out.
