Not only Google, but Nokia and Sony Ericsson seem to have been working on indoor navigation as well. SE has mapped its Sweden offices, and Nokia hopes to create a common standard for indoor triangulation and mapping...

Yes. They get the idea from Nokia 2 years ago and it still doesn't work.

Moreover the idea behind Nokias concept is different. Read about it a little more. Google has different approach and do something slightly different.
