Nokia N97 gets its price tag cut 15% by Amazon
Despite having been launched just about a month ago, the Nokia N97 is getting a price cut from Amazon. The online retailer is chopping 15% off the price of Nokia's flagship touchscreen device. The new price is $599.99 with free shipping, which means that the unlocked handset still costs much more than other manufacturer's flagship models which can be bought with the carrier subsidizing some of the price, such as the Apple3GS, the Palm Pre and the BlackBerry Storm.

Amazon has cut the price on some other unlocked Nokia models as well, pricing the N79 at $300, matching the 5800XpressMusic and the E71. The N85 is now $330.
