Nokia N97 coming to the U.S soon?
Howdy, partners! You certainly remember the Nokia N97, the upcoming N-series flagship. Now, here’s the deal – one of our watchful tipsters has directed our attention to one of the manufacturer’s official web pages, which now shows details on the N97’s support for U.S. 3G bands. We now know that the phone sports tri-band UMTS connectivity, supporting 850/1900/2100 bands. This made us think that Nokia’s Snow White was coming to North America soon and proof was bound to appear. The manufacturer’s USA website now features a banner, saying “Nokia N97 – Preorder soon”. As of now, it only leads to Nokia’s European site that tips you off on the actual device, but we hope to acquire real information about the U.S. release really soon.

High end Nokia phones are always full price because they are unlocked and not carrier branded. And if it was Carrier branded, then the contract would make it more affordable.
