Nokia N96 starts shipping
Nokia today announced that its top-shelf model N96 started shipping. Unfortunately, this is just the “original” N96 and not the one with AT&T-friendly 3G bands, which was recently announced, so if you are in the States, you’d better be patient.

Nokia N96 is the successor of the N95 (8GB), an all-in-one smartphone with dual-slider form-factor. The new model stresses on video playback, coming with 2.8” large display, digital TV (DVB-H) and “kickstand”, to put the phone on a table. First units have already been shipped and the estimated retail price is $800 (EUR 550) before taxes.
