After word came out that the MeeGo powered Nokia N9 would not be launched in the U.S. or the U.K., another country gets scratched off the itinerary of the world's first pure touchscreen handset as the phone will not launch in Germany...

The next article on this will read:
"News flash- Nokia has partnered with Antarctica as the exclusive continent for the release of their upcoming handset, the N9. Why? Because f**k you, dear customer, that's why."

But honestly, them releasing the N9 knowing that it will be killed off, to me is like a slap in the face to all the customers (suckers) that decide to buy one.
If Nokia wasn't going to be serious about it, they should have just fully focused on WP7

I can't believe what Nokia is doing. Doesn't make any sense ???
It seems like Nokia wants to loose all their costumers.

It's not Nokia anymore... Stephen Elop is making all the decisions on this to set the stage for a full Microsoft take over. Nokia may have been hurting, but not dying; it's Microsoft that needs Nokia more in this "alliance".

So much for a market disrupting device! Looks like the N9 was more sought after than the upcoming WP7 devices. Talk about forcing a WP7 down customers' throats! :-s

Wont ever buy a WP7 from Nokia after this, now im angry at them grr...
If i'm ever to buy a WP7 again after this it will be from Samsung. But, im probably not going to buy any WP7 anyways, since i find the UI very boring and ugly.

they must the out of their mind cause they are not launching the N9 in 3 of their top markets which are in their top 10 markets and btw Germany is their 3rd major market in the world. And for the people who will be now saying Germany is not their top market check the link below ;)

Nokia is probably worried that the N9 is so good that people would want a MeeGo phone rather than a Windows Phone.
