Nokia has the worst build quality but their cheap low range phones are built solid whiles these high end phones are toys pathetic! That's another reason why I've gone from Nokia to HTC, love my little Hero.

The Hero sucks compared to, say, the N900. I have owned(and still own) plenty of Nokia handsets from the N900 to the e71 and e72, the N96, ect. and have never had a problem with the charging ports. Nokia's build quality on most,if not all, of their high end handsets are great. Stay with HTC. Your loss, dude. Nokia rules, ftw!!

Out of the Nokia's I've had the Nokia N85 and N95, were the worst built the N85 with its self peeling fascia whichwas glued to the front and the N95 which was a joke

Also the Hero's build quality is superior to the N900, with its solid tempered glass display surrounded with a metal frame and its high quality Teflon matte finish
