Nokia Lumia 925 shows off Datasense app

The Nokia Lumia 925 already comes with the GDR2 (General Distribution Release) update pre-installed; that allows users of the phone to use the Datasense app that is only available for Verizon's Windows Phone users until GDR2 is installed. Once that happens, the app is no longer a Verizon exclusive and will be available to all users of Microsoft's mobile OS running the GDR2 update, aka Amber...

Though I don't have WP, & it seems similar to the data usage feature on Android, it should be useful. Now if only ALL carriers would get rid of money grubbing tiered data, THEN this would be useless.

True, but it can allow for one to see what may be hogging data unnecessarily and/or without permission, which also sucks up battery life

I like lumia 925, but I have bad xperience of my first WP non removable battery. If this phone included that plus sd slot, I'll consider it. My hTc One is non replaceable batt too but, it can reach a whole day of moderate use, but when heavy task my gnote 2 rocks.

External batteries are cheap. I picked up one in a matching cyan to my Lumia 900 with 5000mAh for $15.

Looks good. I currently use the Counters app in the Nokia Collection; this looks like a significant improvement

Just because android had this feauture long ago doesn't prove that it is best. Windows OS looks simple and neat. But to be frank, I love win os, only because of "NOKIA".
