Sony's cameras are present in the iphone 4s and 5.

They lost.

So unless there's something that Sony kept for itself in its own phone cameras, I doubt the result will change.

That said, I would fully expect Sony, Samsung, and HTC to pick up Nokia's gauntlet and try to put their own excellent camera techs into their future phones. I would be disappointed if they didn't.

I have to say the video taken by 920 is the best out of it. But as an owner of One X, I feel like the footage I have taken with mine is a lot better than what they got. That aside, when comparing footage between One X and 920, the One X's video a lot more zoomed in. I'm just a bit confused.

My Htc's camera isnt that bad at all. I think they are slandering other companies phones to make theirs look better. Overall my One x, out performs MY GS3 in video and photos.

Lumina has always had crap screens, low resolution and crap PPI.

Lumina? orly?? You don't even know its name and you go on analyzing the 'Crap screens' and 'low res' xD And why the heck do you own two android flagships dude? They do the SAME thing. Could've invested your money into something else. I rather not care though..

Dude you said crap screen,
HTC One X- 4.7
Nokia 920 - 4.5
HTC wins...

Low Resolution,
HTC One X- 720 x 1280 hd
Nokia 920 - 768 x 1280 hd+
Nokia wins...

Crap PPI,
HTC One X- 312 ppi
Nokia 920 - 332 ppi
Nokia wins again...

Camera hmm...leave it...
Nokia is by far better than Htc...
Plz think about it....

I don't get you people. Lumia 920 is great but it's not an all round phone. Samsungs s3 is an all round phone. It performs slightly above average in all aspects and that's why it's considered the top android device. When you use an s3 you will understand that in everything mobile if it can't deliver best results atleast it gives you something similar or close enough.

How can you say that before it's released and some of its features are still not known?
I don't get your definition of 'all round phone'. I agree that it's one of the best phones, and certainly has raised some bars. 920 will raise bar on camera performance and maybe, screen, wireless charging and touchscreen. When it gets released your GS3 most probably won't stay a good all round phone anymore.

Agree GS3 is a good pnone, but Lumia 920 is the best and outperform GS3 in many aspects. And please remember about Nokia excellent quality. I still have my Nokia 6310i and E71, they work great and it's always a pleasure to work with them. Nokia has been making the best quality pnones for decades.
Forgote to mantion that Android sucks (I used it a lot and I knopw it sucks).

Except that touchwiz is a pile of s**t. Home screen reloads whenever i do something else (playing games, surfing net, watch vids) for 5 mins or more! And its a pain in the arse!

The GS3 is a great all-arounder, yes. But it doesn't push any envelopes, and was evolutionary, not innovative, thus not very exciting. The GS2 was exciting because nothing else could touch it. GS3, not so much. The Lumia 920 is very exciting because it's so vastly different, new, and unique versus other phones, as it combines so many true INNOVATIONS into one device

My LG Optimus 2x make better video than that alleged One X. There is something fishy here.

Nokia pls get this over with. You already lost my trust and more importantly, respect by faking your video and picture ads before. I was like zomg then because of the zomg quality but theynwere fake! Fake fake fake! If im going to buy a windows phone it would not be from nokia. HTC it is!

At no time did Nokia state that the images were definitively from a 920. The ad team messed up and didn't put disclaimers with the images. Most of the world has forgotten about it; you should too. They admitted the mistake, and are now proving their prowess and ability to make the best smartphones in the world.

Everything will be fishy if you look at things the cynic way!! :D
And i agree that Nokia has to stop these comparisons. It's getting very heavy to go through them.

Camer/video is at the bottom of my list o why I purchase a phone. The HTC is still the best device.

excuses, excuses, excuses - that's all i here from these butt-hurt android fanboys. The gs3 and htc 1x are buggy as hell, no matter how hard you try to convince yourselves they're not. If we wanted smartphones with nothing more than useless gimmicks, we'd go out and buy androids Fortunately we're a bit more intelligent than that.
