Nokia Lumia 820 prototype poses for the camera

Now that makes things a bit more confusing. Straight from a source in China come several photos of what is said to be a prototype of the Nokia Lumia 820. You know, the Lumia 820, images of which were revealed a few days ago. What's so confusing about all that, you ask? Well, the handset in the photos appears slightly different from the one that we saw in those pretty renderings. In particular, the camera and LED flash on its back are arranged in a different manner.

Needless to say, we are now wondering whether any of the two sets of alleged Nokia Lumia 820 images are fake or not. After all, any teenager that has ever used 3D Studio MAX could come up with a render like the one we saw last week. On the other hand, this prototype handset might be representing an early design of the handset – design that might have been altered along the way, so what we see in the rendering may the real deal indeed.

The Nokia Lumia 820 is rumored to be a colorful mid-range Windows Phone 8 handset with a 4.3-inch display and camera with Carl Zeiss optics. September 5 is the date, on which the smartphone is expected to be announced, along with the high-end Nokia Lumia 920.

i really like that nokia will add new colors to lumia line.. cyan, magenta and black are good one but limited...

i like the N8 era... there are so many color... green, orange etc...

but im getting a purple.. since its my fave color!!

Good thing about (or bad, depending on point of view) Nokia is that they usually provide many colors to choose from. We normally don't see that from other brands.

hope the hypes and the leaks and the rumors are true about lumia 920!! it should be a pureview...21 will be ok as long as it will be as great as the 808 pureview!

and 820 will have at least the sensor of N8!! 12MP with carl zeiss will be ok.. since most of android devices are still on 8mp...

Hope Nokia is able to squeeze in S4 pro quadcore chipset and 2GB of RAM in their first pureview WP8 smartphone.................
