Nokia Lumia 800 getting update for its camera

Nokia is about to send out an update to the Nokia Lumia 800 to fix a problem that has left the 8MP camera unable to live up to its high expectations, especially considering that it has a Carl Zeiss-certified lens; the problem appears to be software related...

yeap, it doesn't this is not an OS issue. It's the device isssue :)

Whether it's an issue with the OS or the devices, this still flies in the face of the idea that Windows Phones are perfect creations, as they would have you believe.

well, in my opinion its not perfect..no OS is, i know cause i've used android, ios and windows phone device. All OSes have thier advantages and disadvantages, expect for well urmm Bada.

The main issue being had with windows phones is poor sales and lack of any main public desire for them!

the only camera issue I know about that device is it does not have a front facing camera. I prefer the lumia 900

i thought it was a hardware issue thank god its just a software problem im hopi

I'm lovin' my Lumia 800, have had since it came out in France a couple months ago. But yeah, the camera is a BIG let down. Daytime shots are not bad, but once it gets even slightly dark, there's a greenish hue on every picture, even when the flash isn't needed.
