An official Nokia video shows that the Nokia Lumia 800 can help navigate you to a definition faster than the Apple iPhone 4; consider this a video version of the #SmokedByWindowsPhone challenge and even shows how the Windows Phone powered model beat the Apple iPhone 4...

I'd rather have the 800 anyway. No reception problems, looks and feels better, larger screen, arguably better camera, and Nokia has the best consumer mapping software in the world

you know...what surprises me...Nokia is comparing with outdated iPhone4...and implicitly proving that...Lumia 800 is as good as phones we had last year...how sad!

Althought I'm a Nokia Fan(you can check my profile for that) I'll say this was rather stupid, cuz 'London xyz' was already in the history. And at the very end, when iPhone defended to the last, the Nokia guy said "It's not talking".
and for jove39, iPhone 4 is almost equally powerful as Lumia 800. Reason: despite the low clock speed, Cortex A8 chipset is powerful than Scorpion or Snapdragon.
Another thing Jove, iPhone 4 costs almost 1.5 times the Lumia 800.
What you are saying is like "Don't compare Galaxy SII with the almighty new Asha 302"
release date doesn't matter. What matters is performance level.

Totally agree. I noticed immediately the fact that it was on history and the stupid excuse. Not to say that she did all that he did in the same time and had to write london eye.

It's being compared to the 4 as part if the "Smoked by Windows Phone" campaign: the 4 belonged to one of the contestants. The 800 (and 710 and 900) still outstrip any iPhone when it comes to mapping.

They should have tested with an HTC inspire and a Samsung Infuse since they are using an old iPhone 4 to test.

tbh the iphone is the main contender for nokia, both use simple systems for normal ppl. Andriod is for ppl that can and want to be able to have a mini computer in their pocket.

Lol another guy who thinks he is the geek, but in fact yet another "follow the instruction" "leeching script" guy.

The iPhone 4 is so 2010....
Mu kids mother uses Android about as simple as one uses an iPhone. Thats the beauty of Android. It can be as simple or as complex as you want.

Yes because you have spent time with us....coming back to visit soon?
Web, Youtube app, music player, calls, texts, games, gps...BUT with turn by turn navigation out the box...Netflix....

True the cempetition is a bit unfair with the histrory. But is was someone walking on the street who happens to have an iPhone 4, so complaing that the Lumia 800 has an unfair advantage because of release date, I don't think is a valid reason. The Nokia guy is not gonna run around and say he wants someone with an iPhone 4S. The Lumia wins because of Nokia Drive, which is one of the best navigation apps.
