Nokia Lumia 710 available on T-Mobile pre-paid plan at Best Buy

Like the Nokia Lumia 710 as an entry-level device, but not keen on getting locked into a 2-year contract? If so, we have some wonderful news for you. A picture of a box taken at Best Buy shows that the big box retailer is now offering the Nokia Lumia 710 as a pre-paid handset for T-Mobile's no contract plans. You might have noticed that the price that Best Buy is asking for is $299.99 which is $40 more than the carrier itself wants for the phone off-contract. The nation's fourth largest carrier is even throwing in a free $50 refill card with the purchase of the model off-contract.
As for the unlimited plans that T-Mobile offers for those who prefer to pay monthly, you can start with the $50 plan that gives you unlimited talk, text and web although only the first 100MB of data each month is 4G. That rises to 2GB of 4G data for a monthly payment of $60 and 5GB of data if you shell out $70 a month.
The Nokia Lumia 710 features a 3.7 inch WVGA display with a pixel density of 252ppi. Under the hood is a single-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 processor with 512MB of RAM on board. A 5MP camera with AF and LED flash offers f/2.4 aperture and captures video in 720p at 30fps.

Great device unless you are a media/music junkie like myself. I believe this phone only has like 4GB of internal storage and of course, no sd card slot.

I could swear the cell-rep at walmart sold a Lumia 710 for 199$ for prepaid to a man who haggled her. Best buy will have to do better than that. lol Great offering but I rather go to walmart where I can pick the device up for cheaper.

It would be even better if it could be activated on Walmart/T-Mobile's $30 100 min / unl text / 5GB web plan.
