Certainly is (great news). If the camera function (software + hardware) steps up to its promise, Nokia could have a niche with shutterbugs. Now, they just have to lose the stupid carrier exclusive distribution model in the U.S.

that's amazing, but the file sizes of those raw images looks to be huge for the phone's storage capacity.

This time NOkia has learnt a lesson.. A 20MP cameraphone (with microSD) is more appealing than a 41MP (without microSD).+ it has better screen & DNG format which can take advantage of extra storage option. The design is awesome. Everything about Nokia's new line is aewsome. Nokia is a winner here.
But.. Theres a big "But".. Now since MS has taken over Nokia, how long can Nokia keep producing these devices which are a direct competition to MS's tablets & (soon to arrive) phones with same OS.

microsoft will be taking 30,000 of nokia's employee's to continue the lumia line. honestly, i dont see it changing. i think it will continue to evolve with microsoft having alot more money for R&D.

Waiting for something like this in Android phones :-( ,but expecting 60fps video on Nokia phones, the final step.

Phonearena deleted my first comment? I'm sure I commented here, but I guess they took it personally. It wasn't even using vulgar language. Wateves.
