"Nokia Feel" launched by Nokia Beta Labs

We can confide a lot of things with our cell phones – it's always there when we need it; despite our changing daily moods. Even during those times when you're completely at a loss with the world, you can simply check out your phone to escape away the passing time with its mix of interesting features – like surfing the web, listening to tunes, or even watching a movie. Nokia Beta Labs has launched a new application called “Nokia Feel” which aims to offer you a solution based on your current feelings. It'll discover what you can do with your device in a more spontaneous way by suggesting a few things you could do. The app offers a bunch of feelings you can choose from – such as  Energetic, Lucky, Lonely, Happy, Hungry, Bored, Lost, Caring, Creative, and so on. Although the video shows a Nokia N97 running the app, it's unclear whether or not it will be isolated to touchscreen enabled phones or branch out to all Symbian phones. If you're up to the task of expressing your feelings to your phone, then you can go ahead and download it at Nokia's Beta Lab website.

Energetic - go for a run Lucky - extract your life savings and 401k, put it all on 22 black Lonely - booty call on myspace Happy - "good for you!" Hungry - eat Bored - attempt to live the life of a player on GTA4 Sad - kill yourself Really... "i am so dependent on my phone and technology that I cannot think for myself anymore." I would be more impressed if the app was able to determine your feelings by facial expressions from taking a self-portrait, then suggest an activity to do.

To the haters(you know who you are) if you don't like it, then don't use it. Spend your time doing something more constructive than hating on nokia and what they put out.

I am not a Nokia Hater. I love nokia phones, and nokia products. I just think it is pathetic that because people have lost all sense of self identity, they have to turn to a phone app to find reinforcement. I want to know more of this app. Does it use GPS location, ovi maps, and other stuff to suggest an activity. If it suggests an activity to do for energetic like "Go surfing" and you don't live near a beach taht would be lame. All i am saying, is that I find this type of application to be the direct result of the dumbing down and hyper fixation of teenagers who demand everything now and don't work for it. This kind of application pertetuates that kind of idiocy
