When we say that T-Mobile has a new model that has something to do with a catwalk, we are not talking about a replacement for Carly. Actually, what we are talking about is a rumored Nokia Lumia 920
successor that has been called the Nokia Catwalk. We expect that to be a codename for a device that will break with the recent tradition of using a polycarbonate body and switch to an aluminum one
. The result will be a lighter device with a thinner design than the current Windows Phone flagship model.
Since the Nokia Lumia 920 has been an AT&T exclusive in the United States, saying that the Catwalk will come to market with similar specs to the Nokia Lumia 920 doesn't mean that Nokia is going backward. It merely means that T-Mobile customers will now get the opportunity to experience what passes for top-shelf specs on Windows Phone 8. The Catwalk is expected to launch this Summer.
Verizon customers are expected to get their own version of the Nokia Lumia 920 with the Nokia Lumia 928
which has been codenamed the Nokia Laser. AT&T has been one step ahead of the other stateside carriers when it comes to Windows Phone. With Verizon and T-Mobile catching up with their versions of the Nokia Lumia 920, AT&T is expected to receive the Windows Phone version of the 41MP Nokia 808 PureView
