Nokia App Reality video suggests that Windows Phone isn't far behind Android and iOS when it comes to apps

With more than 200,000 available apps, Windows Phone Store can now offer almost anything you need. But is that enough to keep users happy and not craving the apps that Android and iOS have?...

Its I had a easy transition from Note 3 to Lumia 1520, I was worried I join too early, but it seems I join at the right time, been with android for so long so it definitely felt good to try something new

Great bro. WP is getting hotter n hotter every day. My next upgrade is lumia in 2015 summer, I'm excited. I left my N8 in 2013 summer, so after two years - in 2015 summer I'm coming back to Nokia again.

It will be brand new alright, but it won't be the Nokia you/we loved. It'll be in the hands of Microsoft, calling itself Lumia.
Nokia has lost a lot of key people that made Nokia, Nokia, since the announcement of the merger.
Such as Nokia's key designer, Marko, Nokia's Camera Guru, Damian Dinning and people as such.

You are good at pointing out the negative side, but can you ever say anything positive?... So, everyone knows that your opinion is credible can you tell us what the positive side of MS building Lumias is?... Speak up!!
.................
Or, are you just trolling, and unnecessarily whining as usual... Why don't you give us some real constructive criticism that points out the good, and the bad.. Because there's a potential for both... ??????

I will, if there is anything positive/anything good about Windows Phone.

Like you, I can't claim something negative as being positive.
One can only hope something negative to become positive.

I already told you that it's too late.. It's to late to explain yourself.. You've already dug your hole deep enough.. Do you want to dig it deeper?

No thanks. Its not as deep as the hole you're in, but Windows Phone will take care of it, like how it took care of yours.

Honestly I do not care if Nokia not making it with their name on it, as long as the same team made it the phone can have any name, even if it was called flappy bird I would still buy it as long as its the same team

Apps are there in the store....im just skeptical about the games....and most of them either do not release on windows phone or come very late....i wanna try windows phone too...i love the interface and the smoothness...its just i also play a lot on my mobile...so if the developers would take windows phone as seriously even though its not that common...it wud be awsome...because when they support...the os will automatically grow..

Very, very true... But, MS is horrible at marketing, and awareness, and they refuse to do what is necessary to highly promote WP to a level where it is known, and recognized, by the average consumer...
...................
Until MS quits playing around with WP then everyone else will keep "playing around" with it ....... I remember driving down the highway several years ago seeing Droid billboards showing that Droid has apps.. That was a huge marketing effort by Motorola at the time... Have you ever seen MS/Nokia do anything that big, for that long, that consistently for any aspect of WP??
.....................
I'll say it over, and over, again... There is nothing wrong with WP.. WP has more than enough to offer for at least the average consumer.... WP is not the problem, apps are not the problem, features are not the problem. And, MS really won't have an excuse after WP8.1..
No, WP isn't the problem... The problem is Marketing, awareness, and perception, and all of that can be greatly improved on.. I blame MS because they know their position in mobile, they've developed a solid platform, and they just refuse to take it to another level.

What they should do is take out atleast 2 more value for money phones....one in the mid segment and another a high end one like a nexus....the lower end is already covered by lumia 520 nd 525 (which is y its actually doing decently in the lower segment market)...and they need to do this fast...and keep the supply up...so that when people see that they get much better specs on same price...people will atleast be curious to take a look...
And then they need to advertise like mad men...once this is done there will be awareness and there will be market for windows phone...they just need to do this once...and then maybe if they want...follow a nexus like line in the future...

It doesn't matter what kind of device it is. It can be super high end, or ultra low end... If you do what's necessary to market the device, and build excitement on a high level, the device should do fairly well...
.....................
It's not rocket science, and nothing abstract needs to be applied here... Just common sense... That's been really hard for MS in the recent past.. Lets hope with the restructuring they pull their heads out of their a$$es....

I do believe marketing and perception are huge problems for MS.

Many, many people didnt just jump ship from the old Win Mo for nothing. And I think for them and BB.....perception is gonna be the downfall of their platforms.

It will be if something isn't done about marketing.. But, I wouldn't say that it's definitely going to be the downfall of MS products because it's nowhere near too late.
