Someone was lucky enough to get a Nokia 808 PureView for a quick spin around the block. Of course, they tool plenty of sample photos for the world to see...

Doubt its anywhere close. Titan II images looked good shrunken down, but in full resolution you can easlily see the over-sharpening done by HTC's software, not to mention all the other imperfections. I'd bank on this not being too much different.

i think the camera is great the best evere on a mobile device but is camera the only thing that you want on a phone ?

It's a Nokia, so it's already a great phone (in terms of calls, reception, etc), excellent text messaging device, and with Nokia's OS (formerly known as Symbian) it's very easy to use and technically more capable than iOS or even Windows Phone 7.5. I'd get this for just the camera alone. I see the fact that it runs Nokia's OS as a plus, as I'm not enthralled with Android (but love all the apps & support for it), and Windows Phone is still in its infancy, and soon to be replaced with Windows Phone 8

Stunning! Why couldn't they have brought it to T-Mobile US??? I didn't get the N8 and N9s because I couldn't justify the expense, but I think I can (easily) for the 808 PureView

i could read (if i was chinese or speak mandarin) the letters insanelly far away on these pics.
its possible to see the numbers in the land rover plate on 3rd image O.O
