Now thats one good camera....if only it was available as an android phone with atleast a dual core cpu...it would be a sure winner hands down!!...:(

what for dual core ??? because andro is too laggy or wtf?
single core for Symbian (1.3 ghz) is enough. believe me.

Lol...keep on telling android is lagging....if it wasnt for android dual or quad core would never have come to consumer mobiles
hell not even decent single cores and you will still be using age old symbians which starts lagging like hell after installing some apps...dont lie symbian fans even i used symbian products...they come no where near the refinement of android or ios...lol...os for kids thats what symbian is..!....and stop fooling yourself thinking symbian is still good...it is like DOS in the age of Windows 7 or 8..!

First of all higher MP don't necessarily mean s**t, and second when ANY phone exists with more than 16 MP compared to your mentioned 24 MP since the 808 isn't out yet, call me. Lol symbian is why it can run a 1.3 asshat, anything else is overkill

This is a real revolutionary. Not like Samsung, just copy-cat from Apple and Nokia.

The really sad thing is that this image sensor could be driving handset sales for Nokia. But not including it in the Lumia/WP offerings is almost guaranteed to limit its sales numbers. And then Omnivision (or someone else, like Sony for example) gets to catch up.

To be fair though, this was 5 years in development on the Symbian platform, and while they're working on getting it on WindowsPhone, that platform doesn't (yet) have the capabilities to run the software, let alone the enhanced hardware. It'll come, and likely when WindowsPhone8 comes out later this year, just in time to either send other OEMs back to the drawing board or make their offerings look dated in comparison
I'll be picking up an 808 PureView as soon as it's available in the US. I just hope it's priced decently and that the limited supply doesn't get snatched up by third parties who tack on extra cost to it

Nice photos... from a already great phone...or a camera ? :) But they wait to long for this baby to come out. I hope it will not start with problemst as N8. However, Symbian is great (a bit to late) but 808 will prolong it's time. I guess 5 to 8 milions will sell in first 2 months, 1 milion in phone shops, 7 in camera shops :) for those money (450€ do 650€) you cant buy camera with those capabilities :)
long Live Pure View, Long live Nokia :)
We need competion to get great products :)
