Nokia 6061 released by Cingular

Cingular Wireless has launched a low-end clamshell-designed phone from Nokia – 6061. The new device, which is running on Series 40 interface, is offered for as low as $39.99 with two-year agreement. The main features of the dual-band GSM (850 /1900 MHz) phone, available also in 900/1800 MHz version for Europe and Asia, are:

• 65k color TFT display
• SMS/MMS/IM support
• IMAP /  POP3 /  SMTP e-mail client
• MP3 player
• built-in speakerphone
