Nokia #1 in best choice for mobile navigation in Europe & Russia

Our domestic wireless carriers all offer some kind of their own branded GPS service. Whether it be AT&T Navigator, VZ Navigator, or Sprint Navigation, they will all provide you turn-by-turn directions. If you plan on traveling abroad to Europe or Russia, you'll find another big game player. That's where Nokia takes top honors in a study conducted by Frost & Sullivan which gave them the number one choice for mobile navigation. The study gathered data from 3,119 interviews in various countries in Europe and 600 in Russia. The aim of it was to measure the the perceptions, understanding, expectations, and motivations of consumers in those areas. Over 72 percent of the current users who own a navigation system in Europe and 81 percent in Russia vote Nokia as the best brand for delivering mobile navigation. Nokia's dominance in the European market shows with 62 percent of non-owners of navigation systems in Europe and 77 percent in Russia agree that Nokia is the leading brand for offering mobile navigation.
