No iPad 3 this year

0. phoneArena 19 Sep 2011, 06:46 posted on

We’ve been hearing rumors about the iPad 3 launching this Holiday season since before the iPad 2 launched, but that made little sense from the get-go - why would Apple break their successful yearly launch tradition…

then dont look at it.

until all the world shares 1 religious view, blasphemy is strictly local. websites are omnipresent on the web, so blasphemy does not apply.

These are some of the most ignorant comments I have ever read. It has become quite predictable, Android fanatics just regurgitate the same old jokes over and over and think they are funny. You people live sad little lives. I do not (worship) apple, I am using a Droid Bionic and will consider switching to the Iphone 5 after I see what it has to offer. Funny thing is that Phandroids are the most closed minded people I have ever come across.

Sadly true in many cases. iPhone fanatics (and they do exist) happen to quite clearly know the name of the man who invented their idol OS, but Android fanatics (and there are quite a few) seem to invoke the name of their OS "creator" less frequently... possibly because many of them really don't know the name...

WP7 is a given... fail to acknowledge "The Bill Gates", and he will hit the "smite" key on his special keyboard...

What about the device making Apple crapple in their pants The GALAXY 10.1

Oh yeah not competition from a device that is not allowed to be sold.....

Jon's right. This is a tech site... I am jumping into the discussion only because some people here need a literary beat-down to snap them out of this off-topic and pointless bickering. If somebody doesn't face it here and now, this may bleed into other commentary in this forum. If you think this is the place to talk science vs. religion... well, I will let you know that it is not. Pete, cut out the "I'm Christian, so I don't agree with this article/picture/video/whateva..." Remix, and others, quit trying to prove to the "Christian" that science has proved his religion to be false. THE END!

Well this topic was hijacked by bada man and his creationist views. It's funny that you call people sheep and don't believe in evolution.

And I'm nit going to argue this with you btw

it's funny how you can say that since none other than a sheep (or brainwashed) person can beleive evolution. Please read my earlier comment to remixfa about dinosour footprints together with human footprints.
Do you want to discuss this on email ?
I can show you evidence that definitely will change your mind !

Well, if your'e purely scientific it should change your mind unless you have a evolutionist bias.
Want to give me your email adress to discuss this ?
(and i have no clue as a swedish guy what you mean with tinfoil hats, explain...)

everything your trying to present ive seen before. its not gonna happen pete. you cant change my mind. its not because im "evolution only". I go where the evidence is. I dont believe in your god, nor any god, i dont believe the bible is the word of god, and I never will. I dont believe in fairy tales. Therefore i could never believe in creationism because it is strictly a hardcore christian's belief.

If you go where the evidence is, then you won't ignore all the evidence agaisnt evolution. The least oyu can do is read the evidence and then make up your minde of what you are going to believe.
you say"i dont believe in fairy tales"...
How much closer to a fairy tale can you get than having nothing to start off with, somehow out of this nothing there was a huge explosion, after billions of years they formed to planets, after some more years somehow there became life, you simply can't get anything more "fairy tale" than that.
Let me ask you one simple question. What provided the ingredients to the big bang, what was before the big bang. There can't be a explosion out of nothing ???

BTW, ive watched evolution with my own 2 eyes. its not very hard if u understand what evolution is, which you cant possibly. peter you are blinded by pseudoscience

Maybe you have watched MICROevolution happen, but you have never seen MACROevolution happen.

okay, now you guys have hit my buttons...

Who here believes in the "Big Bang Theory"?

Who here can't understand evolution? I think everybody sees evolution on some scale that is discernible, but mostly we see it play out on a societal level, and not so much on the physical level (unless you go to visit Chernobyl from time to time...). Now, why in the world would anyone need to dispute evolution?

If MICROevolution happens, then MACROevolution is required to occur in some sense...

peter, micro evolution becomes macro evolution.. micro evolution IS evolution. You want to believe that evolution happens on some grand scale.. it does not. Evolution is nothing more than a genetic anomole carried from parent to offspring that happens to survive and breed again and again.

The enfluenza virus is a wonderful example of evolution. The reason we cant get rid of it is because each colonies offspring shoots many variants. When we hit it with anti-virals and such, the antivirals are only geared twards certain genetic anomales. Every year scientists take that year's known genomes and put them into the vaccine you get at the start of the flu season. But yet the flu never dies.. why? because certain flu strains are immune to everything that we have thrown at it and by the time we find what kills that strain, it has already evolved into a dozen other things.

that IS evolution. Evolution is the genetic anomoles that are passed and survive long enough to be passed again.

Sicle cell anemia is another beneficial piece of evolution. Its a painful disease but it also protects people from malaria, which is why the disease is only found in african americans... malaria nearly wiped out much of africa a long time ago.. many of those that survived, survived because they had sicle cell which doesnt allow malaria to do its magic in the blood.

again, evolution.

that is exactly how man has survived so long. minor genetic anomoles that under one circumstance present as a disease, and under another circumstance present as an immunity factor.

it was a decent show, but the theory has been disproven. :)

ummmm... how exactly does believing in evolution mean that you have an "evolutionist bias" if you are still open-minded?
