No glasses-free 3D for LG G-Slate but tablet will offer 3D content and take 3D snapshots

Yesterday, we reported to you that the LG G-Slate would offer an 8.9 inch display that would feature glasses-free 3D. Today, sources over at Android and Me are confirming that the tablet will not offer a glasses-free experience, but will have 3D content that will require the use of special glasses. An accessories list discovered for the G-Slate showed that owners of
the tablet will be able to buy 3D glasses that will work on the device. As far as the rear camera is concerned, the LG G-Slate will indeed take 3D pictures.
Yes, the Korean based firm did have a 4.3 inch glasses-free 3D screen on display at CES, but that is far from the 8.9 inches on the tablet. It might be too much to be asking for a glasses-free 3D for a screen that size at this time in the technology's development. We should know a lot more soon with the tablet expected to make an appearance at next month's MWC in Barcelona.
And we will be right there in Barcelona at MWC, bringing you hands-on reports about all of the handsets and tablets that you want to know about!

"LG G-Slate will indeed take 3D pictures." WOW, that is amazing. I wanted the G-slate just because it will have 4g, but now I want for the 3D pictures. I also want it so I can use my DISH Remote Access App (DRA) on a bigger screen. I have been using the DRA app since it came out, one of the perks of being a DISH employee. I would recommend looking into DISH Network to anyone buying the LG G-Slate and get the DRA app.
