No extra charge for mobile hotspot on Verizon’s iPad 4G LTE data plan – not even available through AT&T

In addition to 4G LTE capabilities, Tim Cook also announced that Apple’s latest addition to its iPad lineup would be able to be used as a mobile hotspot. Apparently that is only half true – at launch anyway...

AT&T always put the blame on others. This is very obvious now. It's like when their network craps out. AT&T is like, well it's those heavy users crippling our towers! Whatever AT&T!

Verizon "new" iPad has hotspot included ... in my books ... Verizon has won.

It is an expensive hotspot mind you ... but if I am mobile ... somewhere ... I have other devices (PC, laptop) ... that need internet ... BOOM ... "new" iPad.

Mind you ... would need to watch the data usage ... with is the "gotcha" ... but still ... FREE ... hotspot is HUGE. With a LTE phone ... Verizon is going to charge me for hotspot/tethering.
