The LG Eclipse sounds like it is packing quite a punch with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 under the hood, 2GB of RAM and LTE connectivity; based on info gleaned from the Bluetooth SIG, it seems that this beast will be available for customers of AT&T and Sprint on October 31st...

Whenever LG has tried to be the 1st into the market to bring the smartphones with latest processors, they have turned out to be more of disappointment with half baked software and under performing chipsets(due to lack of proper optimization by lg)
i still remember what a mess lg optimus 2X was...........
I hope LG mends it's ways and focuses more on optimization rather than just being 1st into the market to bring useless ****

Yea..I agree. They have some killer specs...but the delivery isnt alwyas there.

But....I wonder if other manufactures will be trying to follow them? I may just wait it out for a new phone til the end of the year.

Ppl will be drooling over Adreno 320 and 2GB ram tho... I try to stay away from chasing specs...and just get the best overall phone my my wants n needs.

I really hope that this is the start of the handsets with quad cores, Adreno 320 and 2Gb RAM specs along with retina screens in the 720x1280 territory. Winter, 2012 may be the time I get a new handset.

Whoa, this thing is a beast. Quad S4 with new GPU, 2GB of RAM, and an HD display? Lets hope LG gives it a build quality that's as good as the internals, and optimizes the software correctly.

Nice...quad s4 maybe(LTE).. but will te 2gb ram? If so? I'll get this ,over the att vesion ofSGS3....assuming it doesn't turn out a disaster, like what LG did with the "LG thrill" ... -,- worst upgrade ever!!!!!!

Yeah, but they've come a long way with software as well. I've had the Viper for Sprint for a couple months and it's been awesome!
