We have received word that U.S. Cellular is not planning on releasing a version of the HTC Touch Pro2 despite earlier talk that the carrier would be offering the Windows Mobile superstar...

I suppose anything is possible, and they could have changed there mind. That said I asked a USC rep a few weeks ago about the release date and she told me they had just received training on the TP2 a few days before. Given that I think this is a bad rumor. Though I hope not. I am very much wanting one when they come out, my partner has the TP and while I like it the larger screen of the TP2 is appealing. Though I wonder if I should wait for 6.5.1 and the inital bugs to get out first.
