Adobe says that it will not offer Flash 10.1 to Windows Mobile 6.5 phones. The software company says that the OS does not have the critical API's to support it, and will wait until Windows Phone 7 is released. The first Windows Mobile phone to get Flash support will be the HTC HD2 which means that the super sized handset will be upgraded to Windows Phone 7 as rumored. Microsoft also said in a tweet that upgrading a phone from 6.5 to Windows Phone 7 is up to each manufacturer as long as the specs are met.

As for Android, the first batch of phones to receive Flash 10.1 will be the Motorola DROID/MILESTONE and the Nexus One. The upgrade should be done in the first half of this year.

so the windows 7 upgrade... will it be "shipped with win7" or "the first to be upgraded to win7" for the HD2?
